I met and photographed this sweet couple for the first time over the summer, and after many months of planning, Friday was their big day. I was all kinds of excited to shoot a winter wedding, thinking there would most certainly be snow on the ground on by January 6, but the joke was on all of us when the temperatures were hovering around 50 degrees with not a single flake of snow on the ground. Not that I'm complaining about not freezing and being able to take lots of photos outside, but it did feel a bit strange in what is generally the coldest month here in Wisconsin.
