Dana And Mark's Charleston, SC Wedding

Last year when my husband's cousin announced she was getting married, I was excited. I was even more excited when she asked me to do the photography at their destination wedding this May in Charleston, South Carolina.
 
The most beautiful wedding was held at the picturesque Magnolia Plantation and we also did a Trash The Dress photo shoot at the beach the next day.  Pictures from the beach shoot to come in a day or two...

This little cutie turns 2 weeks old tomorrow, and today was the big day for her very first photo shoot!

Hoar Frost

It's still not quite warm enough to be doing any outdoor photo shoots yet, but spring is on its way.  Although, you wouldn't have known it yesterday morning when the grass, trees and any remnants of growth in last years gardens were all covered in the most beautiful Hoar Frost.

By noon, it was all melted so I hurried out there in the morning sun to take a few pictures.

Shadow

It's winter here in Wisconsin and I have no photos shoots lined up in the near future, but I'm sure once the weather warms, I'll be busy again. In the mean time, here's one of my father-in-law's dog, Shadow. We went skating on their pond over the weekend and I couldn't resist snapping this picture of old Shadow with snow all over his face.

Reminds me of that old expression about candy and babies. I'm also thinking I should keep a few lollipops in my camera bag.
