My biggest concern for these photo shoots is always the weather. Today was not picture perfect but after we waited out the rain under a shelter, the sun came out and we were able to finish the shoot outside as planned. It was cool and windy but this family was tough and wasn't going to let a rainy day spoil their family photos.

We had been talking about it all summer, but not until last night did I get together with a friend and her son down at the beach for a photo shoot. Once again, the weather fixed itself just in time and it turned out to be a beautiful evening.
